Pennine Events are proud to present the 2011 Cottages 4 You Pendle Predator (formerly Bowland Beast/National Cyclo-Sportive/Pendle Pedal). This event will once again feature 2 challenging distances – 175km or 100km – neither for the faint hearted!Now renamed to fully reflect the full beauty and remoteness of the route along with the ferocity of the challenge, the former Pendle Pedal is now in its 5th year.
Previously tackled by pro riders on the Tour of Britain, Kellogg's Tour, Tour of Lancashire races & last year’s National Road Race Champs.
Part of the Pendle Cycle Fest, including Colne Grand Prix, Eric Wright Group Cycle Show and Pendle Guided Rides.
Pendle Predator - 175km Cycle
Nowhere else in England can you ascend for several miles with nothing much around you except stunning views, and the silence broken only by your exertions.
You’ll conquer many challenging climbs and descents that are renowned throughout cycling such as the magnificent Barley Fell, Waddington Fell, Nick O Pendle, Trough of Bowland, and Longridge Fell. read more

Whether you know the area or not you are in for a treat in one of the most scenic and low traffic areas in England.
Based on The Predator the ride takes a short cut to miss out the northern section but still includes Barley Fell, Waddington Fell, Longridge Fell and the Nick O Pendle! read more
